Tired of being the CEO of Everything?

woman_juggling_commitments1Being a mompreneur means that you need to combine two of the toughest jobs on this planet: parenthood and entrepreneurship.

You’re working around the clock to be the CEO of Everything, from being there for your family to being there for your business. You have big demands on your time and energy, and it can often seem thankless.

It’s no wonder that sometimes you feel like throwing in the towel – or wishing you could get a break.

We get it.

We’re mompreneurs too.

We’ve been there, done that.

We know exactly what it’s like to balance the demands of your business with the needs of your family, and try to work in a little me-time for yourself too. It isn’t easy.

That’s why we think it’s high time to acknowledge how difficult this balancing act can be for mompreneurs.

Introducing the MomBiz Retreat…

We have a lot of experience as moms, as entrepreneurs, and as CEOs (chief everything officers). We know what it’s like to try to balance your family, your business, and your personal ambitions for yourself as a person – and we’ve tried and tested countless ways to make all three blend together seamlessly.

We think you can, and you should. Here’s why:

purple right arrow bulletTime to Take a Breath

When you’re a mompreneur, you’re putting out fires all day long. There’s never a moment to spare, because you’re scrambling between your clients’ needs to your family’s needs to your business-management needs.

You need a moment. You need to take a step back and survey your whole life and how it fits together. You need to be able to see what’s working and what isn’t, and that’s nearly impossible to do when you’re smack in the middle of the chaos.

Let yourself take a breath. Let yourself step back from the scrambling for a moment, and come back with a fresh mind and a fresh viewpoint.

Time to Take Care of Yourself

070512-josephambler-accomodations-19131.jpg.1024x0It’s impossible to take care of others well if you’re not taking care of yourself. That’s true for your family, and it’s true for your clients and customers – if you’re falling to pieces, you’re not going to be able to give them what they need.

Most of us mompreneurs feel like we can’t spare the time to take care of ourselves. We come last on the needs list, because so many other people count on us all the time. We feel like we can’t stop to get that pampering we deserve until everything is taken care of.

But that day never comes.

Have the courage to take a few days to rest, restore, and revitalize yourself with fine dining, delectable cocktails, luxurious pampering, and a day away from the trials of mommyhood. You’ll be amazed at the difference it makes in your life after just a few days of taking care of you – and only you.

Time to Get Support

Mompreneurship is often a lonely endeavor. Moms and entrepreneurs are two professions that are constantly underestimated by people who don’t have any idea how much work goes into them.

You’ll hear things like:

“Must be nice being a stay-at-home mom! I wish I didn’t have to go to work every day.”

Or this one:

“Working for yourself must be great. You can take time off whenever you want!”

We’ve heard these statements again and again, and it always makes us want to laugh helplessly, and maybe throw something through a window. Oh, yes, being a mom is so easy! Being an entrepreneur? Even easier! Ah, yes, just look at all the free time I have!

Lara and ShelaghMost people don’t get it.

You need people around who do – who not only get it, but who’ve been there and done that themselves. You need people who can sympathize when you’re about to launch a sale and your kids both get chicken pox. You need people who can offer suggestions and ideas that take into account what mompreneurship is really like – not the fun, easygoing ideal most people imagine.

We offer that support. Even better – we offer a place where you get all the time, guidance, and support you need to re-energize, regroup, and come back with a new lease on your entire life – business, family, self and all.

What You Get At the Mom Biz Retreat

Well, good times, great insights, and unflinching support, for starters! But let’s talk about everything you can enjoy when you decide to become one of the 10 lucky mompreneurs on this retreat:

070512-josephambler-dining-19571.jpg.1024x0Dining, Drinks, and Snacks – A $1,000 value, approximately, depending on how hungry (or thirsty) you are.

The Joseph Ambler Inn has earned a well-deserved reputation for its eclectic lunch and dinner menus, which offer many creative flourishes. Featuring only the finest quality fresh meats, fish, and produce, and seasonal herbs and vegetables, every dish is a delight. These meals are sumptuous in the extreme, and you’ll absolutely swoon when you taste the cocktails and treats available to you. We take care of all of the dining costs, so you won’t have to sign for a single check while you’re here.

Spa MomBizMastermind

Indulgent Spa Experiences – A $200 value

A big part of what we like to offer our attendees is the feeling of being pampered. You work hard and you rarely get a moment to simply relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor – we want to make sure you have the experience of taking a moment to breathe and be swept into bliss. We provide spa treatments in the retreat fee, so the mere thought of budgeting won’t need to cross your mind even once.

The MomBiz Workbook – A $497 value

This workbook walks you step by step through creating a better business plan, more streamlined methods of marketing, and how to create systems and operating procedures that work for you and your approach to business. It’s our most valuable tool, and you’ll be getting the added bonus of having both of us on-hand to help you work your way through it.

Pre-Retreat Coaching Calls – A $1,000 value

In the months leading up to the retreat, you’re welcome to join in pre-retreat coaching calls, which we host twice monthly. These calls will not only answer some of your most immediate and pressing questions – they’ll also clear the way for your retreat experience so you can focus on creating a long-reaching plan for your business over the next few years.

One-on-One Coaching with Lara and Shelagh – Priceless

We kid, we kid. Actually, one-on-one coaching for about 20 hours (which is approximately the amount of time you’ll have access to us – you know, when you’re not off doing sunrise yoga or getting a manicure) is a value of $8,000. The amount of time you’ll spend with us is worth the cost of this retreat all by itself.

The MomBiz Retreat weekend package provides you with nearly $12,000 worth of business coaching, business training, spa treatments, and nights on the town – but we wouldn’t dream of asking you to scrape up that kind of cash.

That’s why this luxury weekend is all yours for just $1,999. Put $100 down now, and we’ll give you four more months to pay off the balance.

That’s our Early Bird Pricing, and this special retreat is limited to just a few lucky mompreneurs so that we can make sure you get lots of attention and personalized coaching. In the past, those slots have been snapped up quite quickly.

Pricing jumps to $2,497 once the Early Bird period expires on July 15, 2014 – but we’ve never yet reached that point without a full roster of attendees.

We’re not saying that to scare you; it’s just so you know: Early Bird registration for the MomBiz Retreat is the way to go. Not only for your pocketbook, but for your peace of mind.
